What is the best electric guitar for practice?

I only have 200 bucks for electric guitar only, but I have no idea how to choose an electric guitar. I’m planning on playing some pop music. Thanks in advance.

Chosen Answer:

Lots of guitars in that price range. Do you have a budget for an amp as well? You won’t be able to get both for 0 unless you get total crap. But you can get a solid beginners guitar for 0 no problem. The link below has 85 guitars priced from 0 to 0. Check them out, read the reviews and go see one in person if possible.

I think that a Squier Affinity Strat http://www.zzounds.com/a–2677556/item–SQU310602 will be the best fit for you. It has a great clean tones, but overdriven tones will also sound good.
    Hope this helps.

There is no single guitar that is perfect for practice. They are all different in their own says. But, there are plenty of bad guitars you need to watch out for. There really are too many things to list. Do a little research on the subject before you buy. It’s worth researching.
