What is a good acoustic guitar for beginners?

I am wanting to buy a guitar so I can learn to play them. I don’t know what kind I should buy or how much it will cost. I don’t need anything fancy, but I do want one that is nice. Also, I have pretty small hands, so I don’t know how that effects playing the guitar. Links would be great! Thanks!

Chosen Answer:

Check out Takamine guitars. Tey are inexpensiv, nice sounding, easy to play and are very very reliable. Once they are set up, its for keeps.

Check this link and do try them. You will be amazed at how well they play.

Okay first off, an acoustic guitar had a large body and can be hard to learn on fir a beginner (especially with small hands). I recommend buying an electric (an ibanez gio beginner pack). Unless you are dead set in a coustic sound.

You can find anything you need on Musiciansfriend.com. You could probably get any of the guitars in the 50-100$ range and be very satisfied, Try to get a more well known brand though. Just go on there and read the features and the reviews and then find the one thats best for you.

    Good luck and happy playing.
