What are some good guitar books for someone who wants to learn how to play guitar?

I’ve found some lessons online, but the problem with online lessons is you can’t carry them around like a book, unless you print the lessons out, and even this can be cumbersome. I’m looking for a good beginers guitar book, preferrably for someone who has never picked up an instrument and for someone on the intermediate level.

Chosen Answer:

The best by far is:
Hal Leonard Guitar Method, Complete Edition: Books & CD’s 1, 2 and 3

It comes with book and 3 cd’s. And the price is right at about .00

I think this is an awesome book to start with to teach you all of the basics.
