Rising Country Star Katie Armiger and Hear the Music Live Join Creative Forces to Bring Music to Foster Youth and Teens Nationwide

Hear the Music Live and Rising Country Star Katie Armiger team up to provide live music experiences for foster youth and teens nationwide.

Hear the Music Live and Rising Country Star, Katie Armiger, are doing big things for foster youth and teens nationwide. Hear the Music Live is a national non-profit organization that sends foster youth and teens currently residing in residential group homes and orphanages to concerts in their local areas. Katie Armiger was one of the first to step- up and help Hear the Music Live promote awareness about the positive impact that music has on foster youth and teen lives.

This is what Katie Armiger has to say about her work with Hear the Music Live:

“I am so grateful to be able to help bring some music into these children’s lives with the Hear the Music Live organization,” says Katie. “I don’t know where I would be without music so giving kids the opportunity to experience a live concert is so amazing.”

Recently, Hear the Music Live sponsored a CMA Flyaway Sweepstakes where radio stations throughout the United States offered ticket giveaways to one of Country’s hottest events- Country Music Awards in Nashville, TN on November 10, 2010. Grassroots Promotion spearheaded the promotion of public service announcements featuring Katie Armiger, Danny Gokey, Gloriana, Darryl Worley and others to radio stations and media outlets throughout the nation. With the expertise of Grassroots Promotion, Hear the Music Live has public service announcements featuring country’s hottest stars airing live on over 100 radio stations nationwide.

KMPS in Seattle, WA named Tara and Michael Hellickson winners for the special trip that included flight, hotel accommodations, CMA tickets and a special opportunity to spend time with rising country recording star and Hear the Music Live supporter, Katie Armiger. Claire Hachard of Thousand Oaks, CA also received the star treatment courtesy of the Hear the Music Live CMA Flyaway Online Sweepstakes. Katie Armiger met the lucky winners for a special Meet and Greet and limo ride to the event.

This is not the only time that Katie has supported Hear the Music Live. Currently up for auction is a beautiful Gibson J200 guitar that was painted by Nashville artist, Mandy Lawson. The eBay Giving Works auction is from November 9-19 and all proceeds go to future programming for foster youth and teens nationwide. This auction would not be possible if for not the support of recording stars like Katie Armiger who signed on to record audio and video public service announcements promoting the auction and the mission of Hear the Music Live. Katie also joined dozens of other country recording artists and signed the beautiful guitar. Katie Armiger fans can view and bid on the beautiful Gibson J200 guitar on eBay Giving Works.

When approached about recording the Hear the Music Live theme song, Katie jumped at the opportunity and even invited area foster teens to participate in the session. The powerful theme song can be downloaded on http://www.hearthemusiclive.org and on iTunes. Fans of Katie’s can also upload public service announcements featuring her on the Hear the Music Live website. They can also access Cold River Records and Katie’s latest recordings and videos through her website.
