How much would it be to get guitar strings changed at a Guitar Center?

While I’m at it, how much would it be to get regular acoustic guitar strings, nothing special about them?

Chosen Answer:

I got mine changed at guitar center a couple of months ago. It cost , and they did a really good job. Strings will probably cost you about .00 per string, so if you have a 12 string guitar and if you have a six string guitar.

nah you’re better off changing them by yourself. go on youtube and look up how to change strings, or ask a guitarist friend to change them for you.. guitar center will probably just rip you off.

i’m not sure how much the strings are. since i’m not american and my currency is different to yours. it should be on the store’s website though, i guess

  3. Tetchi says:

The exchange rate of the string is around 15 dollars from 5 dollars.
The price of the string is around 20 dollars from 3 dollars.
    Please change it by yourself.
If you change it in a center because its expensive.
learn it immediately when you have a site and a friend teach it.

It’s easy to change your own strings, especially on an acoustic guitar. The best information on how to do it is here:

Don’t waste your money at Guitar Center.

Learn to change your own strings. They’ll charge you more for the string change than they will for the strings. It takes less than 30 minutes to do it yourself. You can learn off of a video or guide off the internet; it’s a lot easier than it looks.

The strings will cost $5 to $10.

I did this a few times and the total was around 16 dollars
