How much does guitar maintenance typically cost?

I have a Dean Vendetta XMT and I want to know about how much to expect a guitar shop owner to charge me to replace Passive Electric guitar pick-ups.

Chosen Answer:

Well Replacing Pickups isn’t rocket science and is pretty easy to do Around where i live it will cost around Per pickup

I have seen it higher and lower a good expectation is – per pup

Although this depends on the shop so you can’t be sure Just call around and get an estimate its free

Guitar Doctor is spot on. You are usually looking at about $50 to replace passives with passives and $100 to go from passive to active. This is labor only, not the cost of the pups them self.
