How can I make a completely custom guitar?

Is it possible I can make a guitar completely to my specifications? Like I’ve seen som guitars that look so kool in guitar shops like with a completely transparent body but I can’t find them anywhere on the internet. I want to be able to completely pick the body and all that. How can I do that? Thanks for the help! 🙂

Hello there,

Custom built guitars are usually unique creations. Make to fit your playing needs. You pick the scale length, the neck profile, the fretboard radius. the types of wood for the body, neck and fretboard. You select the body shape. The guitar is built to your exact specs. Good custom builders probably have a 12 month waiting list. You can expect to pay in excess of ,000 for a good custom built guitar. If that is something you seriously want to pursue, I can suggest some names.

If all you want is an acrylic body, there are plenty of guitars with those available in standard production models.

Google olson guitars. STINKING expensive. Pretty much any custom will be that way. Olson’s start at 12,000 but with each thing you add on it end up like 25,000+. Some on there are like 40,000. You just click on your specifications and enter your credit # and pin but i doubt any not-famous person can afford those.
