Hard Rock International is proud to launch a special Facebook Deal that will aid in the fight against hunger and poverty around the world. Beginning now through December 31, 2010, each time fans use Facebook Places to check into any Hard Rock Cafe location throughout the U.S., Hard Rock will donate to benefit WhyHunger, a non-profit organization that is a leader in the movement to end hunger and poverty.
Currently boasting more than 1.68 million fans, Hard Rock’s social media presence is on a constant incline, and the brand aims to use its influence for this worthy cause. Hard Rock International’s decision to partner with Facebook aligns perfectly with the brand’s mobile and social strategy and serves as an innovative way to raise awareness of Hard Rock’s commitment to philanthropy.
“We’re always looking for innovative ways to allow more fans to experience the Hard Rock brand and also raise awareness of our philanthropic endeavors,” says Kim Matlock, Hard Rock International’s Senior Director of Digital Marketing and CRM. “This special charity deal will make each visit to a Hard Rock Cafe even more rewarding for fans.”
